Ozone is produced commercially in much
the same way as it is in nature. It is created through the use
of UV lamps or electrical corona discharge. Ozone is toxic to
bacteria, the production process turns O2 into 03. Water circulation
adds ozone automatically into the water to keep your pool or
spa clean, clear, and perfectly refreshing. Ozone units can
come with independent circulation pumps for quiet, continuous
24-hr operation. Ozone is used to lower chlorine consumption
creating a lower amount of chlorine residual. An Ozone System
used in conjunction with a Salt Water System gives a pool or
spa purity not found in conventional chemically treated water.
